WHAT'S HAPPENING AT THE YARD

No, Pemaquid Marine has not branched out into home construction, but soon after purchasing the yard a new wood shed was erected in which to store materials for our wooden boat construction and restoration projects.

Currently underway during the 2010 winter is a 27' birdwatcher-style sharpie schooner designed by Phil Bolger.  The launch is set for spring 2010.

See our photo gallery for ongoing progress.

Along with the on-going new construction project, we also performed a intensive interior and exterior paint and brightwork spruce-up on a

Formosa 44 in addition to her regular seasonal maintenance.

Currently underway is a deck replacement on a Cape Dory.

Also on the schedule this winter are some major fiberglass repairs on two of our storage boats in addition to an awlgrip job.

This web site is also a work in progress.  It will continue to change and be updated as our shop projects move forward.  Plans are in the works for an entirely new site along with the development of a blog in an effort to provide more timely updates on our projects.
